13 Hours (2016)

Directed by Michael Bay

Contains spoilers.

Michael Bay is known for big explosions and low-angle camera shots. And despite his movies making billions 13 Hours is his most mature and serious film yet.

In 2012, Benghazi has become too dangerous for most foreigners, such as diplomats and embassy officials, to stay; America is the only country to maintain an embassy, as well as a "secret" CIA compound nearby. 13 Hours chronicles an organized attack on the two compounds and the efforts by a group of contracted, American servicemen to defend them.

Though a true story, the film is about as confusing as Bay could make it.
